Partner With Me

Partner with me: Gen X will do retirement it's own way, and it might involve Doc Martins

Based in Brooklyn, NY, I worked for more than a decade as a top financial, career and business journalist for Fortune magazine, The Wall Street Journal, The Street.com and many wonderful business, lifestyle and women’s magazines that no longer exist. When the old-media industry imploded, I launched, grew and sold FamiliesGo!, a website all about family travel. Through it all, I traveled to more than 30 countries on 5 continents solo, with girlfriends and, most of all, with my husband and daughter. Now, I’m a recently widowed empty-nester in search of my next project and new travels.

I’m launching The Gen X Mid-Life Playbook because we’re facing a different midlife from prior generations, and we need a new game plan.

The podcast is a mix of real talk and expert insights on the midlife transitions we’re navigating—career changes, layoffs, empty nesting, reconnecting, divorce, money, retirement, aging parents, and loss—plus the fun stuff like travel, food, new hobbies and new friends. Honest conversations, practical takeaways, and zero fluff for Gen Xers figuring out another life phase with unique challenges just for us.

I’m looking for partners in the form of content sponsors, brand ambassador relationships and experts for live Q&As with my audience. More information to come.
